Cyndi’s Dockside

It is somewhat challenging to find places to dine when carting a 3 month old baby around, but we’re managing to find some places that we are comfortable bringing him…  One of our recent dining adventures was at Cyndi’s Dockside in Poland.

We knew that Cyndi’s had an indoor dining room, but we were hoping to enjoy the waterfront picnic tables.  Since we went for lunch on a week day, there were several tables available, and we figured if the baby did start crying we could take turns walking him around to calm him–much easier to accomplish outdoors than inside a restaurant…  I didn’t know what to expect in terms of the meals we ordered, but was pleasantly surprised that the food was of excellent quality–very fresh and flavorful.

It had been a while since I had eaten fried scallops, so I opted for this meal.  The scallops were cooked perfectly, and I liked that sweet potato fries were an option.  While this meal certainly doesn’t classify as a “healthful” lunch, it met a craving that I’ve had for a while.

My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich, and was also happy with his selection.  We both enjoyed our lunch, and we plan to return sometime this summer when we feel like getting out for lunch or dinner on a nice day.
