Ice Cream Machine = YUM!

I’m not talking about the ice cream machine at my house that is sadly on its last legs.  I’m talking about the ice cream shop in Cumberland, Rhode Island.

After spending the day at Roger Williams Zoo with my sister-in-law and niece, we made a stop at The Ice Cream Machine for some of the best peanut butter ice cream (oh, and the maple walnut was good too)!  I did learn that their portion sizes are rather generous.  While some places serve two modest scoops and call it a medium, this place serves up a mountainous “medium”  bowl of ice cream, easily a full pint’s worth.  Oh my…

With so many amazing flavors to choose from, I will admit that I would have a difficult time trying another flavor after realizing how good their peanut butter ice cream is.  Next time I think I will order a small peanut butter ice cream with hot fudge sauce.  For now, I think I’ve had enough ice cream to tide me over for the next few weeks…
