Last weekend my husband attended The 15th Annual Mt. Appetite Farm Gala Affair while I was out of town. He and one of our friends played the opening set, and in return he was sent home with one of Cookin’ Carol’s amazing strawberry rhubarb pies which we’ve both been enjoying this week!
This gala sounds to be quite an event with a line-up of live music, a scenic outdoor setting, an impressive menu, even the option to camp. For a recommended $10 donation per person, it sounds like a wonderful and affordable way to spend a summer day. Next year I definitely plan to attend this event, armed with my camera, if that’s okay with Carol!
