A little over two weeks ago I attended my sister-in-law’s baby shower, and armed with a camera, I was intent on blogging our lovely feast. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always been interested in, and impressed by the wide array of family favorites that arrive at such events.
This feast consisted of a full ham and turkey dinner with all of the fixings. My favorite was the meat pie, a.k.a. tourtiere. This particular recipe was flavorful with hints of cinnamon and allspice, but very lean in comparison with other versions I have tried.
I wonder which of these foods my little niece will favor when she’s old enough to appreciate solids?
